Can
I look at the website information from my desktop or with
no internet access?
A Standalone CD
version of www.whatmap.co.uk is produced quarterly. This
CD is a copy of the website version of the WHAT Map (www.whatmap.co.uk)
but contains increased functionality. It can be run directly
from the CD or can be copied onto a hard drive (PC or
network).
How
do I look at the UK Discovery Digest articles in the website?
Currently the UK
Discovery Digest and WHAT map links can only be accessed
by UK Discovery Digest clients directly from the standalone
CD version of the WHAT Map and cannot be accessed via
the web.
(In order to enable the links to function the “WHATMap”
folder and the UK Discovery Digest folder “UKDDIGEST”
must be located in the same location within the file structure
of the PC or network hard drive).
What
is the difference between the legends in the left and
the right margins?
The basic geology
legend is shown in the top left margin. The additional
reservoir, subcrop layers etc legend is in the top right
margin. These additional layers can be turned on and off
by ticking the appropriate check boxes in the bottom left
margin.
Other optional layers also in the left margin include
digest wells, fields, pipelines, operators, unreleased
wells by year, faults and slat domes.
