The WHAT Map is an online database of test results and shows covering all released exploration and appraisal wells in the UKCS, backed up by comprehensive geological base maps and technical assessments of all non-released wells.

The WHAT map uses macromedia's 'FLASH' player to deliver fast, up-to-date subsurface data. The application allows the user to 'zoom' into the maps, then 'pan around' to see greater detail. Individual layers can be turned be turned off and on so you can customise the way each map is displayed. Clicking on a well opens the appropriate linked text box detailing well test and shows, or technical assessment.

Full size geological basemaps, at 1:250,000, can be downloaded in pdf format for printing.
